Certifying
As I’m buttoning up the certification process, I’m looking for families to serve at a reduced rate. This would require the family to participate in an assessment but includes all covered as a 1:1 client.

1:1 Client
This includes two pre-natal appointment, one where I’ll come with to an OB visit, and one just us. It also includes laboring and delivery, and basic lactation support. I also offer two postpartum visits after discharge to help with needs, answer questions, and offer support.

Birth photography add-on
I would be delighted to photograph you labor and birth both in home and in the hospital as allowed by staff. This includes newborn photographs in the hospital.

why did you become a doula?
What is the role of a doula?
A doula is a non-medical support person focused on the well-being of the parents. A doula might offer different positions, massage or acupressure techniques, as well as help a family plan their birthing preferences and plan for new changes.
will my doula make decisions for me?
A doulas role is absolutely not to make decisions for parents. Quite the opposite; a doula will be mindful of creating space for parents to make informed decisions about their healthcare by offering evidence-based resources and support.
